I woke up in a cold sweat, my heart pounding in my chest. It was just a nightmare, I told myself. But as I looked around the room, I realized that I was no longer in my apartment. I was in a different room altogether, one that was completely unfamiliar to me.
As I got up and looked around, I noticed that everything looked the same as it did in my old apartment, except for one thing. The windows were all blacked out, and as I looked closer, I could see that there was nothing outside them. No sky, no buildings, nothing.
